• Disability Services – Get information on the Council’s Disability support services by calling 01274 438700 or visit www.bradford.gov.uk/disability.  Call 01274 437020 if you would like to borrow a wheelchair or electric scooter from the Council for someone with a disability.  Call 01274 432170 for information on education and training for people with disabilities.
• Dog Warden – To report stray dogs, dangerous dogs, dog fouling and barking dogs, or to register a dog, call the warden on 01274 433927 or email dogwarden@bradford.gov.uk.
• Drug Litter – Do not touch any drug taking equipment if you find it.  Report it to the Council for collection and disposal by calling 01274 431000.

• Education – Call 01274 385500 to contact Education Bradford, who run Shipley’s Schools together with Bradford Council.  The number to call for the Admissions team is 01274 385600, the number for the social work team is 01274 385761, and the number for the special education needs team is 01274 385961.
• Elections – Check if you name is on the electoral register or apply to vote by post or proxy by calling the Council on 01274 432286 or by emailing elections@bradford.gov.uk.
• Emergency Social Services – The out of hours team works 5.30pm-7.00am weekdays and 24 hours at weekends.  Call 01274 530434.
• Fireworks – For advice on fireworks and bonfire safety, visit www.bradford.gov.uk/fireworks.
• Fly-tipping – To report this illegal activity, call the Council on 01274 434366 if it is on private land, and call the Environment Agency on 0800 807060 if it is on streets or public land.  If you have any bulky waste to dispose of, see ‘Bulk Collections’.
• Food Complaints – Call 01535 618040 to request an inspector to look at unfit food.
• Fridges /Freezers – You can either take un-used white goods to recycling and household waste sites for free (the nearest is on Wagon Lane, Bingley), or pay £15 for them to be collected.  To arrange a collection, call 01274 431000.

• Noise from Industrial, Trade or Business Premises – Call 01274 434366 to ask the Council’s Environmental Health team to investigate any such noise.
• Nuisance Motorcycles – Call 0845 6060606 to tell West Yorkshire Police about anyone causing a nuisance with scooters, gopeds, trikes or quads, etc.
• Park Rangers – To ask about the park ranger service, call 01274 432696 or visit www.bradford.gov.uk/parks.  To ask about parks in Shipley, call 01274 437028.
